Sailors. Sneakers. Jackets.

Since fashion is a topic long since not mentioned, here's a quick update on what's already hot, but not yet impacted Malaysian shores. 


Sailor inspired fashion. 

Dark navy lined with white. Vertical and horizontal stripes. Double breasted jackets/ shirts/ dresses. Wide pleated skirts. 


If you're not willing to spill the dough, shop for: A navy wide pleated skirt. Find a plain white top in your closet and pair it up, and accessorize with retro plastic or vintage gold jewellery. 


Then there's the dress with sneakers look.

And fitted, short jackets are out. Go loose and baggy instead. 

Throw the loose jacket over your dress with sneakers combo for insta chic. 

To skimp: Raid your mother's closet for those old loose jackets with shoulder pads, and if you can't afford YSL sneakers, settle for a dressy pair of Sketchers instead.
