Coco was a piece of chocolate chip that lived in a plastic box with her 1375 brothers and sisters.
Coco and her siblings didn't know where they came from. But they didn't really care.
They had each other. And life was pretty much as such when you don't get to scurry around unless someone comes to shake their plastic home.
Being at the side of their home was the best place to be in. Sometimes. if the ones at the side were lucky, it would be weeks before a human came to shake their home. The rest in the middle had to rely on those at the side to tell them what was going on.
One fine day a little girl came into the little grocery store where Coco and her siblings' plastic bottled home stayed. The little girl's mommy let her shake their bottled home, so she could hear the chocolate chips go 'shash swish shash'. But by the time they had to go, the big human made the little human put back the bottle of chocolate chips where Coco lived, as they still had many bottles of chocolate chips at home.
Coco was ecstatic, for, for once, she was placed right at the bottom corner of their plastic home. Everyone knew that was the best place to be at. If no one shook the box hard, the ones at the bottom corners hardly moved.
So for weeks, Coco stared happily out of her new post. Life for a chocolate chip wasn't very eventful, so it wasn't long before she realised there was another box of colourful colourful chips placed right next to hers, and a very cute looking yellow chip who looked as though he'd been staring at her for quite some time.
In the weeks to come, Coco got to know Lane as well as chocolate chips could - signing through their plastic walls with their chip-language. Coco enjoyed her solitude, while Lane talked to everyone around him. Coco was contented with her current life, while Lane dreamed of travelling across the world in different chocolate chip boxes.
But despite their differences, Coco and Lane got along like a butter and kaya spread on bread. Coco began to worry that their days of chip-language signing might come to an end. And she couldn't deny the nagging fact... How could a chocolate coloured chocolate chip ever get to mingle with a coloured chocolate chip?
I wish I could say there was a happy ending for Coco and Lane. But life as a chocolate chip doesn't leave much for the imagination.
Coco's plastic box was shaken hard once again two months later, and she didn't get a corner view till another two months later. One month after that happened, her box of chocolate chips expired, and she and her siblings were thrown away.
Lane's box was shaken a month later and he continued dreaming his dreams and talking to the chips around him. But it wasn't too long before his chocolate chip home was bought and he and the rest of the coloured chips were made in milkshake toppings, and he melted away into a tiny chocolatey non-existence.
And so goes the pathetic sob story of two mismatched chocolate chips. Who should've just remembered they were but inconsequential chocolate chips.
Welcome to existence
Everyone's here
Everyone's here
Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now
What happens next?
What happens next?
[chorus]
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before
Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
The tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be
[chorus]
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
[chorus]
