I noticed that its a popular beauty youtuber/ blogger thing to do a posting/ video like "Novemeber Favorities!" or "September Beauty Buys!"
I kinda feel like its a con job really.
If an item is good, its good! Which means it shouldn't be a favorite only for that month, but as a to-keep item.
Though of course, in time you may find better and better products.
And here, for the time being, are some products which I find irreplacably excellent, and I just had to share with you.
I'll receive your thanks later. yesiknowsyioksendiri. ^^
Estee Lauder's Double Wear Light Foundation
Now I use makeup almost everyday. And liquid foundation is one of the staple items of my everyday makeup. I have tried so many brands of liquid foundation, including ranges from Lancome, Shu Uemura, Chanel...
But none. Can compare. To this ultimate oil-free/ absorbing foundation of all.
It stays on for the whole day. And I go out in the morning till past midnight almost everyday. It doesn't relent to the shine on my forehead and cheeks which have always been my problem.
Heck. The only thing I need to touch up on is my blusher at night!
I need to send a personalised apology to Sukie, AM of Estee, who was telling me about this, of which I had remained extremely skeptical about for the entire year. *shy*
I can't remember the price, but it should be around RM130.
Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie Antioxidant Lip Colour
Nature's way of making us beautiful
I got the kaler Pink Me Up
Before I was introduced to this lippie, my undying loyalty was towards Bobbi B's lip gloss which was the only one that seemed to provide a beautiful glow that lasted for longer than the normal gloss.
Then one fine day I met up with JuLin of Clinique who showed me the press kit. I widened my eyes at the words Antioxidant.
You can read up on Antioxidants here. But in essence you just need to know that its nature's way of preventing more damage to skin. Any skin.
So I quickly ran to get the lippie. Then I jz had to try it on the spot.
I proceeded to immediately fell in love with it on first touch to the lips.
It went on smooth. Super smooth. The colour is awesome. It lasts longer than normal glosses. And even when the gloss goes away, it leaves ur lips feeling like their still balmed (like after applying lip balm).
For most lippies, I need to slather on a layer of lip balm first before putting on lippies, but this... It can double up as a moisturising balm and lippie.
And its only RM66! For all that hydrating, antioxidant and glossy goodness.
You can read Beetrice's review here if you don't believe me. ;)
Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Complex
To say this is better than other Hydrating erums would probably be a lie. I would say it would be on par with most.
But what differentiates this Hydrating Complex for me is the fact that it can be applied onto your eyes as well.
SO UBER CONVENIENT!!!!
And I love love love how my skin immediately tightens, lifts, firms, and goes toink toink just after ONE application.
♥ ♥ ♥
You just need to slather it onto your whole face and eyes after toner, before moisturiser.
Ta da!
Toink toink skin.
Who needs to use eye creams/ serums/ moisturising masks anymore with this baby on their vanity table?
Not me fer sure.
Just by hydrating my skin properly, my humongous ass pimple has shrunk, my blackheads/ whiteheads have lessened, and the fine line (yes one only!) under my eyes and forehead seem to be disappating.
Priced at RM189, but of so worth it, as you dunnit to buy eyecreams anymore. Haha!
Clinique Super City Sunblock
I am not a big fan of sunblock.
I know its necessary, but I really dislike the stickiness and the way it just clogs up my pores at the end of the day.
Before this, I totally recommended Shu's sunscreen, which felt like there was nothing on my face.
Everyone who tried it raved about it as no one likes the sticky texture.
But then I started to realise that everytime I used it, my blackheads were populating my nose more than my skin was, and I started to boycott it.
Clinique's City Block is amazing in that it does nothing bad to my skin.
My skin remains clear the whole day. No additional blackheads. Clogged pores. Nada.
I can sleep in it even (yes I've tried I'm ashamed to say), and my pores remain fine after I wash it off.
So despite its extremely sticky texture, of which I counter by putting on a light dusting of powder, I remain loyal to this sunblock.
And with its mild tint, I can use it during weekends when I want my skin to breathe (without putting on liquid foundation), and yet cover my uneven skin tone and mild scars.
I've also heard of IQQU's sunscreen being able to combine Shu's non-sticky texture and Clinique's non-pore clogging formula, but since its only available through internet purchase, and costs a whopping USD33 plus USD8 for shipping (now on promo USD25 and USD5 for shipping), I'm still holding on to my Clinique thanks.
Clinique's City Block retails at RM129? (if not mistaken) for SPF25, which is sufficient enough for me. They also have SPF40 and the whitening range available.

Please note, that even though some of the products were given to me, I was not requested to write this review. All opinions are totally true, and products have been tested on other individuals as well who also agree with my opinion.

Sherene - Wilkommen!
Marlene - Haven't tried that, but from the reviews, I hear it doesn't provide great coverage, though it doesn't clog your pores too.
EL's one provides good coverage yet doesn't clog your pores yet stays on.
